Sonos has announced the Sonos ERA 300 and ERA 100 speakers. They are both available for pre-order in Australia and will ship on March 28th.
The new Sonos speakers will now support Bluetooth 5.0. Like other Sonos speakers they will work with Sonos’s proprietary multi-room audio as well as Airplay 2 for playing music from Apple devices.
The Sonos Era 300 – the larger of the two speakers – supports Dolby Atmos audio. It also has Sonos’s quick tune feature that will adjust the sound to match the room.
The Era 100 is designed as a replacement to the Sonos One.
Both speakers feature a USB-C input that can be used with a compatible line-in aux cord.
Sonos has also announced that support for Apple Music’s Spatial Audio. This will be playable through the new ERA 300 speaker as well as on the ARC and second generation Beam soundbars. The feature will be available on March 28th.
